This hand sewing lesson teaches you how to add a decorative appliqué shape onto another piece of fabric using the simple whip stitch method. In my example I use felt, which is a popular fabric to use for this technique as it does not fray at the edges. • The whip stitch is excellent for all kinds of uses because it's quick, neat and easy. The stronger you want to make your sewing, the closer together you sew the stitches. • I hope you find this video useful :) • • _________________________________________________________ • If you would like to browse craft products that I use in my videos or that I otherwise recommend, please take a look at my Amazon recommendations page: • https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/rokoleediy • Note that this page contains affiliate links so I receive a small commission on any sales made through this page, thank you :) • If you would like to buy me a ‘coffee’ to support my channel, you can do so here: • https://ko-fi.com/G2G89EXL • Any support is hugely appreciated and helps me to cover websites fees, material costs and other expenses related to creating videos.
