Build quality, whilst not premium, is excellent for the price with nothing looking likely to fail anytime soon. • The projector supports the usual range of input ports but for me comes into its own when used with a FireTV, Roku or other external input devices which allows for direct streaming from the internet. The native resolution is 800 x 480 but FHD 1080p files are supported and can be played. • A wide range of files and formats are supported: • Audio: WMA, MP3, M4A • Video: MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, • RM, MOV, MKV, DIVX, VOB, • Photo: HPEG, BMP, PNG, JPEG • Remember, that if you use a third-party source device, such as a FireTV or Roku, then this will extend the file types that will work. Such devices are perfect for a projector and effectively transform it into a standalone streaming player for Netflix, iPlayer, Prime etc. • I found that it gave a perfectly decent image of around 2m diagonal during daylight and a larger and far brighter image at night with good contrast and bright colours. An image size of 32~170 inches is claimed, and that does not seem unreasonable, although the smaller the image the sharper and brighter the picture. Sharpness is lost if the image is made too large, as to be expected, but when configured sensibly the image is fine. Audio quality is good and loud although lacking in bass somewhat, again to be expected with a device of this size and price but external speakers can be connected. Take note that Dolby audio is not supported, so turn it off on your source device. • For the £59.99 price, this would be excellent for use in a smallish room, on holiday or for the children. It is not a substitute for a premium device in a high-end home theatre, but with this in mind, this is still an excellent buy. • ======================= • NB • The Manufacturers offer a range of quality accessories for purchasers that leave an Amazon review of the projector: contact them here for details: [email protected] or see the leaflet in the product box • Music: YouTube Audio Library: Unicorn Heads: Beach Walk
