Sydney independent girls’ school, Queenwood, and Kempsey’s Macleay Vocational College have formed an unlikely bond. Known as one of Australia's most affluent and most disadvantaged school respectively, this is how the two sets of students and teachers have helped each other. • Mark Morrison runs Macleay Vocational College where he is helping some of the most troubled and disadvantaged teenagers in gaining an education, when all other forms of schooling have failed. • Bullied outcasts hit the textbooks alongside teen mums bouncing babies while in the next classroom youths facing juvie learn about sex in prison. It’s a unique school that’s churning out positive outcomes. • While some students have behavioural or truancy problems, others had a backstep in their education due to pregnancy. To help these students thrive, Queenwood School for Girls came to their aid to fund a new creche centre to put teenage girls on the path to success. • The MVC-Queenwood student exchange has opened the eyes of students from both sides of the divide to opportunities and understanding far beyond their experience. • Watch the full Australian Story here: • For more from ABC News, click here: https://ab.co/2kd3ALi • If you're in Australia, you can watch more ABC News content on iview: https://ab.co/2kKaXKn • Subscribe to ABC News In-depth:    / abcnewsindepth   • For breaking and trending news, subscribe to ABC News on YouTube: http://ab.co/1svxLVE • You can also like us on Facebook:   / abcnews.au   • Or follow us on Instagram:   / abcnews_au   • Or even on Twitter:   / abcnews
