The YAMAHA CP-80 semi-acoustic electric piano has always been one of my favorite instruments, but they don’t manufacture them any more. This YAMAHA Reface CP synthesizer captures the essential sound of the CP-80, and because the keys are small, I can plug a full-sized keyboard into it, using it as a sound module. But for music videos, it has a battery and speakers and is small enough to bring to the most challenging shooting locations.
