This is my Breitling Navitimer 806 from 1966 • I sent the watch to Breitling Switzerland for a complete overhaul re-dail new hands and movement service • the result is stunning, like a new watch • • Today the watch is used regularly at weekends or special days. • As my intention was to haw it like the first time i saw it as a kid (8 years old) • and to use it rather than let it rest in a safe, i decided to do this. • • The overhaul was 9 month long, but as my hunt for this watch was several years longer it felt rather fast. • • Outcome was spectacular and i assure it stays regularly on my wrist • • some say its wrong to do this and other say it´s OK • i do not care as its my dream watch the other watches i own is not • overhaul like this to prevent the original patina • • more from this watch hi res pictures and my history on it • is found at.... • http://forums.watchuseek.com/f96/revi... • • hope you like it • • Jonas Straka
