I chose not to talk about my dual-diagnosis (ADHD + Substance Use Disorder), but treating all aspects of my mental health has helped me achieve long-term recovery. There are so many assumptions and stereotypes when it comes to both ADHD Substance Use Disorder (aka Addiction), which leads to the stigma shame.
