Dating back to the original 'Iron Ration,' Deutschland has been on the cutting edge of military field provisions, and the Einmannpackung—Germany's modern Meal, Ready-to-Eat—is no exception. Supplied to the German Federal Armed Forces, the Bundeswehr, this robust 24-hour MRE provides a soldier nearly 4,000 calories, including three main meals, various snacks, and drinks. Among all the individual combat rations we've tested and reviewed on the channel, this is one of the most impressive; however, in terms of taste, it was mediocre at best.
