Eliminate unsightly gaps on the back of your Mosaic Crochet projects by using an anchored double crochet (Adc) stitch instead. I invented this stitch many years ago while designing some mosaic crochet patterns and I’m excited to share it with you today! • Anchored double crochet (Adc) instructions: • Insert hook in both loops (or in back loop only) of next st on previous row and draw up a lp, YO, insert hook in front lp of st one row below same st and draw up a lp, YO and draw through 2 lps on hook, YO and draw through all 3 lps on hook. • My crochet patterns using the Adc: • Crochet Mosaic Scarf pattern, self-published by Susan Lowman, The Crochet Architect: • https://thecrochetarchitect.com/downl... • Wedding Ring Blanket, self-published by Susan Lowman, The Crochet Architect: • https://thecrochetarchitect.com/downl... • Dueling Diamonds Blanket, self-published by Susan Lowman, The Crochet Architect: • https://thecrochetarchitect.com/downl... • FREE Mosaic Basketweave Placemat pattern, designed by Susan Lowman: • https://www.yarnspirations.com/red-he... • To learn another technique for Overlay Mosaic Crochet using the Adc stitch, watch my video #25 - Continuous Overlay Mosaic Crochet with NO ENDS (my COM technique):    • #25 - Continuous Overlay Mosaic Croch...   • For well-written crochet patterns, check out my website at https://www.TheCrochetArchitect.com
