Kitbashing a Warhammer 40k Mechanicus Assassin • Finally, another kitbashing video! My hobby filming station is mostly set up (apologies for some focusing issues) and I'm really excited to film more hands on things again. This time I'm converting one of a members of the Officio Assassinorum (a Callidus Assassin, to be specific) out of a similar process I used to create my Nighthaunt Ruststalkers. Here's a little lore profile on this mean dude: • [Ø] “Zed” • This elusive member of Forge World Midath, according to all records both external and internal, has never existed. The moniker “Zed” is somewhat of a misnomer in of itself, for it introduces itself as such, but the name slips out of any it’s had interaction with moments after it leaves. There are even fewer who know of it’s true designation [Ø], limited to only the very elite of the Forge World, so far removed from the operations below that they have never interacted in the first place. Zed is a savant of noospheric dataflow manipulation henceforth unseen on Midath, and his unique data-inceptors allow him to pass unnoticed and unperturbed throughout any Mechanicus facility. When dealing with outsiders of the cult, he uses altered technology purloined from the sicarian infiltrators to produce audio-visual hallucinations many magnitudes greater than the standard kill-clades.
