Frédéric Meinders has a great ear for music that I genuinely believe deserves more attention. His output is wildly expansive, so there are a lot of great things to see on his website should you choose to take a look at it. • Also, in regards to discrepancies in these performances, it should be noted that Meinders sometimes deviates from his scores in a concert setting, either to explore new ideas or to improvise a bit during his performance. It is also the case that sometimes the score is made after the piece is recorded. In the case of the section beginning at 12:53, there’s an ossia on the manuscript that was not typeset onto the score. Regardless, should you pursue Meinders' work, the score should be followed, generally. • 0:00 - Nocturne, Op.9 No.2 for left hand alone • 3:05 - Étude, Op.10 No.3 (Inversion) • 6:44 - Étude, Op.25 No.7 for left hand alone • 11:38 - Waltz, Op.64 No.1 • 13:38 - Waltz, Op.64 No.2 (In Memoriam Vladimir Horowitz)
