An introduction to one of the many skills utilized in acceptance and commitment therapy. While this is only one of the many acceptance and commitment therapy defusion exercises, it is one of the best, one I have personally witnessed several of my patients find most useful in dealing with anxiety, depression and chronic illness. • Learn how to defuse or separate yourself from your thought so that it becomes possible to see the thought that is running the show.
