Hello everyone, • Welcome to Hazel’s Homemade. Today I am going to make Osso Buco. It is an Italian stew of veal or or beef shank with the bone marrow in the middle. After long and slow cooking with vegetables, chicken stock and white wine, the meat falls off the bone. The sinew is soft and gelatinous. The sauce is so flavoursome that I used the left over sauce to make pasta. Best pasta sauce I have ever had. To serve, I cooked some traditional saffron risotto to go with the dish.
