I Made a Big Mistake - LG 32 4K 240Hz OLED 32GS95UE Review • LG recently released their 32GS95UE-B gaming monitor which can push up to 240Hz at 4K and 480Hz at 1080p. No other monitor on the market is capable of such framerates even at 1080p, and combined with OLED's near instantaneous response times the motion clarity is absolutely wild. However despite this and the new sub pixel arrangement leading to much better text clarity, this monitor has started many conversations between gamers. LG made the interesting choice of equipping this monitor with a matte coating. This is what has caused so many conversations as many gamers prefer the better grain free clarity and potentially better contrast and vibrancy afforded by glossy coatings like on QD OLED and LGs own C and G4 TVs. The question is, despite this coating, is the LG 4K OLED still a great monitor, or should gamers avoid it in favor of less expensive QD OLED monitors? • This review took a very long time to make.
