#farinatadiceci #chickpeaflour #chickpeas • Baked chickpea porridge SIMPLE AND EXTRAORDINARY! • CHICKPEAS FLOUR, also known as Fainè, Fainà (in Ligurian) or Cecìna, is a very low savory pie, prepared with chickpea flour, water, salt and extra virgin olive oil cooked in the oven. Its history is extraordinary, it seems to have been discovered by chance, after a storm the barrels containing the flour broke and were washed by the sea and so the sailors put this mush to dry in the sun, then when it was dried they ate it and were surprised how good it was.
