Mount your TV in 3 easy steps. From finding your studs to hanging your TV on the wall, DIY expert Matt Muenster and Natalie Nyhus show step-by-step how to install a TV mount. • Step 1. Attach the mounting bracket to the back of the TV using a Philips head screwdriver and the included hardware. • Step 2. Attach the wall plate to the wall. • Find and mark wall studs. (Common stud placement is every 16 inches or every 24 inches.) • Use the SANUS wall plate template included with your mount and align with marked studs. • Using your wall plate template as guide, drill the holes where your TV bracket will be secured to the wall. • (Note: If you're drilling into steel studs or concrete, give our customer service team a call, and they'll provide the hardware you need to complete your installation.) • Remove the mounting template, line up the wall mount bracket with your pre-drilled holes, and using your drill and included hardware, secure the wall bracket to the wall. • Step 3. Attach TV to the wall. • Lift your TV to attach the bracket on the back of the TV to the wall plate. For larger TVs, you will want a friend to help you lift the TV onto the wall plate. • If you have a full motion TV mount, you will attach the articulating arm to the wall plate, and then secure the TV to the articulating arm. • The audible click will let you know your TV is secure. • For more information on how to install a TV mount, visit the SANUS blog: http://hubs.ly/H08bH5Y0/. • Questions on the different types of TV mounts?
