Welcome, and in this Philippines travel vlog, we will explore the best tourist attractions in Cebu City, Philippines, where we will visit the Heritage of Cebu Monument, The Oldest House in the Philippines (Yap-San Diego Ancestral House), and the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. • ▶️ Please Subscribe: / @robbietravels • Cebu City is the biggest city on Cebu Island in the Philippines. It is also known as the Queen City of the South. It is the capital of the Cebu province and has the busiest port in the country. The city is also home to the country's second-busiest airport. • Cebu City is a hotspot for vacationers since it offers various unforgettable experiences. Visitors can explore old temples and historical sites built by Spanish settlers, visit beautiful beaches to see strange sea creatures, and eat delicious Filipino food. • During my Cebu City tour, I visited several historical places there. I started by visiting the Heritage of Cebu Monument, which features exhibits covering 500 years of Cebu's history. The monument's statues and sculptures are intricate works of art, and their materials range from concrete and steel to bronze and brass. • Next, I went to the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, which is thought to be the oldest building used as a home in the Philippines. During the Spanish rule, wealthy and influential Filipino-Chinese people lived in the house built in 1675 by Chinese merchants. • Today, the house is a museum with religious artifacts, old furniture, kitchenware, glassware, paintings, and decorative art. • Up next we were visiting the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, a beautiful example of Spanish colonial architecture. The cathedral was built in the 18th century and is devoted to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception. • A visit to the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral will provide a welcome change of pace from the island's more popular landmarks. You can take your time and look at the impressive architecture as you walk through the cathedral. • Since we had no luck finding Chinese food, we decided to end our vlog with a lunch at Vikings Luxury Buffet at SM City Cebu. When at Vikings Luxury Buffet, visitors can enjoy a variety of seafood, meats, vegetables, and desserts, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. • Cebu City is a bustling metropolis with various attractions and activities.
