MARITIME 23 BOAT REVIEW

I had a chance to test ride a new Maritime 23 foot center console today and I was truly impressed. This boat is laid out with lots of thought by the manufacturer. Fit and finish is excellent with tons of storage and ease of access to all components. A great feature is the bunk area under the console. It is the size of a queen size bed and perfect for a young family to overnight. The center of the bunk can be removed for access to storage and a porta- pottie. It has a live well and two fish boxed forward that drain directly through the hull. It is powered very well with a 200 hp Yamaha and will attain speeds of over 45 mph. It is priced very reasonably and would be a great boat to use in the Fire Island area. • It will be available to view and for test rides at the Tobay Boat Show next week as well as at Suffolk Marine every day.
