RECIPE below. ⬇️ • Ps- I got the idea for the cherry ice from ‪@olivia.noceda‬ ‪@Babytamago237‬ • INGREDIENTS • Cherry Ice • 15 red cherries • 1 cup cherry juice • 2 cups water • Margarita • 1 cup frozen cherries, pitted • 1/4 cup cherry juice (sweetened or unsweetened- see note below about sweetener) • 2 oz tequila • 1 oz fresh lime juice • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup (necessary if using unsweetened cherry juice- but you can adjust to taste depending on the sweetness of your juice) • Ice cubes • Lime wedges for garnish • Salt or sugar for rimming (optional) • INSTRUCTIONS • 1. Add one cherry to each slot in ice cube tray, making sure to leave the stems up and out of the tray if attached. Fill tray ¾ full with a mixture of cherry juice and water. Freeze for four hours or overnight. • 2. In a cocktail shaker or a sturdy glass, add the frozen cherries. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush and muddle the cherries until they release their juices and break down slightly. • 3. To the muddled cherries, add the cherry juice, tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup or honey (if using). Stir well to combine and allow the flavors to meld together. • 4. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rims into a plate of salt or sugar to coat evenly. Set aside. • 5. Fill the prepared glasses with the cherry ice cubes. Strain the margarita mixture from the cocktail shaker or glass into the glasses. • 5. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and enjoy!
