Live Class - O'level/IGCSE/GCSE Chemistry - Past Paper Practice - Atomic Structure • For Free Live Demo Classes, Register at • https://megalecture.com/live-subject-... • In the following lecture we solve both multiple choice questions and structured questions on atomic structure. • For a brief revision, atoms consist of a nucleus containing protons and neutrons, surrounded by electrons in shells. The number of subatomic particles in an atom can be calculated from the atom's atomic number and mass number. • An atom has a central nucleus. This is surrounded by electrons arranged in shells. The nuclei of all atoms contain subatomic particles called protons. The nuclei of most atoms also contain neutrons. • The masses of subatomic particles are very tiny. Instead of writing their actual masses in kilograms, we often use their relative masses. The relative mass of a proton is 1, and a particle with a relative mass smaller than 1 has less mass. • For detailed lecture on the atomic structure please visit: • atomic structure for O'Levels/iGCSE :... • For more Video Lectures for O Levels, A Levels, IB Diploma, AP Courses Edexcel: • https://www.megalecture.com • / megalecture • For Zoom/Whiteboard Subject Experts and Tutors and Free Online Trial Classes, Contact: • [email protected]
