This is a short video on how easy the Piezography® system is to use. Piezography is a turnkey system of up to seven shades of carbon monochromatic inks for EPSON printers. Up to 11 different Piezography inks can be configured in 4900, 7900 and 9900 printers. But, Piezography on an EPSON 1400 printer with only six shades will greatly exceed EPSON ABW on an EPSON 9900 printer. Because Piezography uses four additional shades more than EPSON ABW, it can produce tens of thousands more gray levels than ABW. • Converting a printer required removing all of the color inks and installing refillable cartridges with the Piezography carbon based shades. • The inks are encapsulated pigment for non-clogging performance. The pigment is ground to exceedingly small tolerances. Printing black white prints without color is what digital photography can be. Piezography supports nearly all EPSON Photo and PRO printers. The conversion is simple. A huge array of media profiles are available for most popular 3rd party papers. • There are five different Piezography ink sets available: Carbon, Neutral, Warm Neutral, Selenium, and Special Edition (which commemorates the Ashes and Snow projects printed with Piezography inks by Jon Cone for photographer Gregory Colbert. • Piezography prints have more resolution, acuity, smoothness, tonal separation, greater shadow and highlight, and more surface depth than any other digital process. They absolutely rival and surpass conventional darkroom prints. • The Piezography Digital Negative system is also available as an option for turnkey film for silver print, platinum print, and other alternative processes.
