esp8266 serial WiFi module firmware downgrade

To use a esp8266 WiFi module with the arduino SoftwareSerial library, the serial port needs to run at 9600 baud. Here is how to connect the module to flash firmware. • Ray Wang's Arduino code is here: http://rayshobby.net/first-impression... • I just switched the hardware UART and SoftwareSerial in the code and changed the speed. • Check for suitable firmware here: http://www.electrodragon.com/w/ESP826... • Don't forget to add a level shifter or voltage divider if you connect the module to a 5v Arduino.
