This is a double test. It is for you hearing but first it is for your sound system. If you are going to use headphones, be very careful about adjusting the volume. • Hearing range describes the range of frequencies that can be heard by humans or other animals. The human range is commonly given as 20 to 20.000 Hz, though there is considerable variation between individuals, especially at high frequencies, and a gradual loss of sensitivity to higher frequencies with age is considered normal. • This sine sweep does not consider the “equal-loudness contour” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal-l... . With a constant amplitude setting for the sound emission (like in this test), there are different regions of the spectrum which are perceived at different loudness because of our hearing system. It is normal for everyone. For example the region around 3000 Hz is perceived with a greater loudness. For this reason, previously I have recommended to pay attention with headphones. • Because of compression of the video/audio file, the audio frequencies may be slightly altered, especially at the extremities of the band. For a general purpose it is ok. Make sure to set the best audio-video quality available. • Thank you.
