Locomotive Ride Along Pere Marquette 1225 on Manton Hill

Pere Marquette 1225's return to Cadillac excursion was special for many reasons. One of them was that the locomotive would traverse over rails she had never been on before. From Manton to Cadillac, the locomotive would battle an 11.65 mile long, 1.6% grade with a long passenger consist and some light assistance of a diesel helper. In this video, you can hear the locomotive giving it all she's got up the grade.
