Gotta keep the campfire burning, so we needed a log splitter! This one was designed and constructed over a few days with scrap metal, wheels from a broken hand truck, a 5HP Briggs and Stratton engine from a broken rototiller, and various parts from automotive and army surplus type stores. With a little bit of gumption, and a final price tag under $500, (not including labour because building it was therapeutic)... it does the job nicely. • Short music clips in this video are from the song Rednecks and Hillbillies by the Preston Summerville Band (Pville) and is used with permission from the band manager John Roberson. • Not sponsored, not monetized yet, and no merch. • So... • if you'd like to support this channel: • ⁹ • FREE- Like this video!
