By developing basic coordination through sports specific movements you can perfect a variety of motor skills that will ensure your future athletic success. NGA34 will help you develop explosive strength, linear speed, lateral speed, improve your acceleration and deceleration, develop your coordination and balance. The secret behind NGA34 is high intensity training that uses short bursts of energy. This type of training helps develop your explosive fast twitch muscle fibers. • There are 2 general types of muscle fibers found in skeletal muscle: fast-twitch and slow-twitch. Fast-twitch muscle fibers are recruited when strength, power and high intensity short bursts of energy are needed. They are recruited in high numbers during intense sports that require sprinting, jumping and explosiveness. Athletes of high intensity sports such as football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, wrestling, volleyball, hockey, etc. have a greater percentage of fast-twitch muscle fibers. Slow-twitch muscle fibers are recruited during low intensity long duration endurance activities. Athletes of low intensity sports such as long distance running have a higher percentage of slow-twitch muscle fibers. NGA34 is designed to train you in high intensity sports related drills. Training drills that last 15 seconds or less. These drills are designed to increase the number of fast-twitch muscle fibers in your skeletal muscle. More fast-twitch muscle fibers equal increased speed, agility, quickness, overall explosiveness and better coordination and balance. • Your age will have a lot to do with how quick you learn the drills and how much you improve on your strength, speed, agility, quickness, coordination and balance. What I mean by that is although everyone will benefit from NGA34, a 9 year old kid will not develop strength, speed, agility and quickness as fast as someone who is 16-18. Younger kids will see results at a slower pace but should not be discouraged because this is a year around training system and if followed correctly will be the building blocks to their future athletic success.
