ZF’s PowerLine is an 8-speed automatic transmission for medium-duty trucks, heavy pickup trucks and buses. Built on the proven success of ZF’s 8-speed transmission for passenger cars and light-duty trucks, PowerLine is engineered specifically for CVs. It will be in production by the end of 2020 and will be incorporated in a major OEM platform in 2021.
