https://www.pepperl-fuchs.us/usa/en/c... - Kamden Payton, Technical Support Team, demonstrates how to connect an inductive sensor to two of our sensor testers: the ST 03 sensor tester and the 1-1350 initiator tester. Both testers are powered by two 9 V batteries, allowing 18 VDC to be used to test the sensors. • Note: For demonstration purposes the sensors shown are Normally Open, PNP type sensors. • The ST 03 sensor tester can be used with two-, three-, or four-wire DC inductive sensors and two-wire NAMUR sensors. The ST 03 has three connection terminals: positive, negative, and signal. Once you have connected an inductive sensor to the tester, the LEDs will illuminate and a sound will be heard when a target is detected. • The 1-1350 initiator tester can be used with two-, three-, or four-wire DC inductive sensors and two- or three-wire AC sensors. It has four connections terminals: positive, negative, output 1, and output 2. After connecting your sensor, press the test button. The LEDs will illuminate when the target is detected. • Need a sensor tester? • Go here: ST 03 https://www.pepperl-fuchs.us/usa/en/c... • • 1-1350 https://www.pepperl-fuchs.us/usa/en/c...
