Hi everyone! • It's been a long time.... • I hope you're all keeping well and 2023 has been a good year for you all so far! • I am back with an unboxing of my new vinyl player, the Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB. • Lots of you recommended that I get a new vinyl player, and lots of you recommended this exact turntable. Due to financial boundaries and life getting in the way I hadn't had the chance to invest in a new player until recently, when that all changed. • Expect to find new videos of lots of cool and unusual gaming vinyl coming your way soon! • Turntable details: • AT-LP120XUSB Direct-Drive Fully Manual Turntable • The AT-LP120XUSB features a new DC servo direct-drive motor, along with adjustable dynamic anti-skate control and selectable phono preamplifier. The fully manual turntable plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records and is equipped with a USB output that allows direct connection to your computer. Just download the free Mac- and PC-compatible Audacity recording software (or software of your choice) and start converting your vinyl singles and LPs to digital audio files. • In addition to its convenient USB output, this direct-drive turntable also features a detachable dual RCA output cable and built-in selectable phono preamp so you can connect directly to your home stereo system, whether it has a dedicated phono input or not. The turntable features an S-shaped tonearm with adjustable tracking force and an AT-HS6 universal ½ -mount headshell with an AT-VM95E Dual Magnet phono cartridge. • Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the versatile, high-performance AT-VM95E cartridge, which comes with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus, but is also compatible with any VM95 Series replacement stylus, offering a wide choice of options for every budget and application. • Additional features include a die-cast aluminum platter with felt mat; a start/stop button; selectable high-accuracy quartz-controlled pitch lock and pitch change slider control with +/-8% or +/-16% adjustment ranges; a stroboscopic platter with speed indicator; a removable plug-type stylus target light; external power supply; and a removable hinged dust cover. • Link to turntable on the Audio-Technica website: • https://www.audio-technica.com/en-gb/... • Video Details: • 00:00 Intro • 00:11 Outer Box • 00:42 Unboxing begins... • 01:56 Platter assembly • 02:07 Unboxing cables • 02:22 All parts from the box • 03:37 Applying the felt mat • 03:46 Tonearm Counterweight assembly • 05:38 Additional parts • 05:55 Making sure everything is level • 06:00 Installing the dust cover • 06:15 Adding Speakers • 06:20 Turning on and testing • 07:27 Outro • -- • Thank you for watching! • Please do like and subscribe and leave an awesome comment.
