http://kirtanstudios.com/ • There are a variety of ways to use the flick as demonstrated in the beginning. • Instructions: • On the small side of the mrdanga you will place your thumb facing downwards. The side of your thumb will be touching the mrdanga. Your index middle and ring finger will be on the thumb. Your ring finger will hit the mrdanga first, then the middle finger and then the index finger. • The technique is the same on the big side. The only difference is that you use two fingers. • For the single finger flick you will place your index finger at the base of your thumb and flick from there.
