Unlock Kindle fire 7 5th generation load root custom rom

I bought a $35 kindle fire 7 a few years ago. 2019 is the year to make it mine. • Lately, it has been acting slow, freezing, disconnecting from wifi, and generally being a party pooper with all of the offers . I just want to watch Star Trek /Star Gate while I am cooking dinner. • This video shows my process for unlocking a kindle fire 7 (5th gen) to run TWRP, allowing a custom rom or root to be installed. all per instructions from k4y0z on XDA. • Many thanks to all for your hard work! • • To do this, you need a computer running linux, and the ability to open your kindle to touch two wires together.
