With Chroma Inspire, creating a design of this nature should take about 10-15 minutes. However, with Chroma Luxe, it could take as little as five minutes to digitize this design, thanks to Luxe’s wand tool. • In addition, you’ll learn just how 3D puff digitizing works as well as plenty of tips on how to keep your digitizing clean and crisp within the software. Willy also explains why 3D puff requires a satin stitch and teaches you how to adjust your angle lines and split lines to make sure your stitches are going in the right direction. • After showing you how to make your stitches start from center outward—a necessity for cap embroidery—Willy covers the following steps in detail: removing the underlay, adjusting push and pull compensation and adding a nap blocker. Once the digitization is complete, he takes this tutorial to the craft room to test his design, which we think came out great!
