In a saucepan add the milk, heavy cream, and chopped potatoes. Place in medium high-heat, and season with salt, pepper, and bay leaves. • 2. Bring to boil. In a casserole dish add melted butter, and place the sliced potatoes. Add the cream mixture on top, and sprinkle with minced thyme. • 3. Bake in the oven at 190 degrees for 50 minutes.
