On February 25, 2024 Vidas and I participated in a joint recital organized by Center for Sacred Music at Vilnius St. Casimir church In Memoriam Bernardas Vasiliauskas (1938 04 28 - 2022 02 21), dedicated to the memory of Bernardas Vasiliauskas, one of the most famous organists in Lithuania, a great artist and a wonderful human being. In this joint recital participated organists Gediminas Kviklys, Jūratė Landsbergytė, Renata Marcinkutė Lesieur, Rimvydas Mitkus, Aušra Motūzaitė-Pinkevičienė, Vidas Pinkevičius, Živilė Survilaitė, Dainius Sverdiolas and Andrius Pleškūnas (viola). On the program - music by J.S. Bach, R. Wagner, V. Pinkevičius, M.K. Čiurlionis, O. Messiaen, G.A. Mankell and other composers. This time we recorded only audio and took some pictures so this is an audio only recital. Thanks to Renata Marcinkute Lesieur for organising this event in memory of our dear colleague!
