115 Volt MIG Welding Techniques amp Settings

https://weldmongerstore.com/collectio... • See a detailed article here https://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/... • In this video, I used the primeweld mig 180 recommended settings for 1/8 thick steel on a lap joint and then tried the same settings at a slower travel speed on 1/4 thick steel. • I used the pigtail adapter to plug into a 115 volt receptacle on a 20 amp circuit to check the performance on 115 volt. • I don't know how well it would perform on a 15 amp circuit but most welders are very limited on a 15 amp breaker/circuit.
