Here we have the Yamaha MT-07, in THE BEST COLOUR (slightly biased as it's the colour same as my MT-10 😅) • The 07 is such a fantastic, middleweight bike, easy to ride, comfortable, and light enough to manage easily. You can see why several motorcycle schools used them • Using Yamaha's CP3 engine, cross plane 3 cylinder, they make a unique sound and offer ample power and torque • This example is used and enjoyed, and after a recent trip, was in need of some SMV love • First up, the prewash, we applied fallout remover to the wheels and brake calipers and a degreaser on the chain, sprocket, and surrounding areas before laying a pH neutral snowfoam over the top. We then agitated the worst areas with a soft brush to really work in those products to get them working hard • After a rinse to wash away any remaining product residue, we applied a tar remover, before again, laying it over with snow foam. This helps with a longer dwell time before the products dry out and also helps to spread the product into those hard to reach areas. This dissolves the tar, and the snow foam helps to drag it out and away from the bike • Once rinsed, we then carry out a detail clean, using a variety of brushes to reach every part of your bike. Again we use fallout and tar remover to further detail the bike • Another snow foam and rinse to remove all traces of product before air drying • Next up, we covered the tyres and brakes in preparation for ACF-50 protection. Using an air gun, a fine mist is applied to all crucial areas.
