If you want to support me, consider purchasing them via these links. • The paints I use are 'Old Holland' from Dutch factory 'Scheveningen'. These have a very high pigment load and are very thick. This way you can add your medium of choice, without thinning the paint too much. I usually get 225ml tubes which saves about 30%. The tubes last a long time, on average I use about 1 225ml tube a year for each color. The set I use, in the actual order I have them on my palette: • Titanium white: 40ml: https://amzn.to/34lTQkH 225ml: https://amzn.to/3c9EjqR • Scheveningen yellow lemon: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2JVWMuE 225ml: https://amzn.to/2xYFWc2 • Cadmium yellow deep: 40ml: https://amzn.to/3c3rpud 225ml: https://amzn.to/3aXmlaS • Scheveningen orange: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2UWmR3e 225ml: https://amzn.to/2Rmxwlp • Scheveningen red medium: 40ml: https://amzn.to/3aWu1dx 225ml: https://amzn.to/2xkaQvk • Alizarin crimson: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2V9kNne 225ml: https://amzn.to/3eaIrZi • Dioxazine mauve: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2JUxmxz 225ml: https://amzn.to/3eeIhQX • Ultramarine blue deep: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2RrAwgv 225ml: https://amzn.to/39SutYV • Transparent oxide red: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2Rkf5ht 225ml: https://amzn.to/39WSKwS • Scheveningen green deep: 40ml: https://amzn.to/39Rrsb3 225ml: https://amzn.to/2wwSPK8 • Sap green lake extra: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2xk9ctE 225ml: https://amzn.to/2Vdv0zj • Ivory black 40ml: https://amzn.to/2JVYcFu 225ml: https://amzn.to/2UURoye • Occasionally I use a small amount of this very saturated blue/green, but I don't keep it on my palette: Scheveningen blue: 40ml: https://amzn.to/2ViAPLA 225ml: https://amzn.to/2RrCFZB • My standard medium that I've been using lately, consists of equal parts venetian turpentine and linseed oil: • Talens venetian turpentine https://amzn.to/3aVTBz3 • W N Stand oil https://amzn.to/3aUR5JC • W N Linseed oil https://amzn.to/34pUpKn • Some brushes I use: cheap hog bristles for initial lay in, similar to these: https://amzn.to/2VxdYfL, long script liner brushes for details, eg. these Da Vinci ones: https://amzn.to/3a5Q0xb (size 10 or so). Other favorite brushes of mine are Rosemarys bristles, and Talens Van Gogh round ox hair brushes.
