Dark Deception is an episodic horror game where the player enters a series of ever more terrifying nightmare portals to try and gather soul shards and make a hasty retreat before the monsters residing within catch up to them. These monsters range from clown gremlins, dread duckies, chef monkeys, living statues known as Gold Watchers and a whole host of deadly boss encounters. The enemy roster has only grown with the remastered release - Dark Deception Enhanced. In this video we take a look at monsters of all currently accesible across Dark Deception chapters 1, 2 and 3. Explaining their origins, revealing their jumpscares and looking at the environments each inhabits. As well as this we look at a possible theory behind the nightmare portals themselves and the demonic entity known as Malak.
