This Sim0nTrains Rail Journey takes Simon to Gloucestershire to visit 2 Railway Station, Gloucester and Lydney, to see some Great Western Railway Class 800 diverts. • Starts very early at Rugeley Town at 0725 in the morning and take a West Midlands Railway Service to Birmingham New Street to change for the 0830 CrossCountry Trains service to Gloucester. • At Gloucester, Simon was filming CrossCountry Trains and Great Western Railway services arriving and departing but the reason for this visit was to see some diverting trains which were working Swansea to London Paddington, worked by GWR Class 800 IETs. • After a visit to Gloucester, Simon jumps on a Transport for Wales service to Lydney Station and film some trains at this location but again, the reason was to see some GWR Class 800 IETs at this location and Simon even had a walk to the Dean Forest Railway Lydney Junction Station. • After Lydney, Simon travelled on the 1255 Transport for Wales service to Gloucester and then while waiting for my train, Simon saw the GWR Class 800 IET with the mask on passing through!
