Try • FINALE NOTEPAD 2012 - entering edit... for my more detailed demo of how to enter and edit notation and tablature and how each can be used to automatically create the other ... • • If, like me, you want to make guitar tab and/or music notation quickly and easily without having to cope with massively complicated GUI's, then maybe my personal solution will be of interest to you. • • The program in question (FINALE NOTEPAD 2012) is hugely more powerful than I expected - and it's 100% FREE. Registration is also free and there are no hidden or limited functions beyond what you get. • • The demo in this upload was based on a morning's work getting to know the basics of how the program works. I just aimed for something simple and basic but in the time I gave it, I was able to achieve much more than I hoped - including finding how to edit both notation and tab and also add lyrics and headings using a variety of fonts. • • It actually took me longer to make the movie than it did to make the music that I feature! • • If you decide to try it - the online manual is very good. (No downloadable manual that I can find). Please don't ask me for help with any particular problems that you encounter as I'm learning to use it myself. All the best.
