Kick-Ass 2 is an upcoming 2013 superhero action comedy film based on the comic book of the same name and Hit-Girl, both by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr., and is a sequel to the 2010 film Kick-Ass. The film was written and directed by Jeff Wadlow and co-produced by Matthew Vaughn, who directed the first film. The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse reprising their roles from the first film. • Kick-Ass 2 began principal photography on 7 September 2012, and concluded on 23 November 2012. The film is due for release on 16 August 2013 in the United States and on 19 July 2013 in the United Kingdom. • Storyline : • Inspired by Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) other masked heroes appear. Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), forms a team and Kick-Ass joins them on patrol.
