Want to see one of the most impressive stone-arch railroad bridges ever built in the US -- the Starrucca Viaduct? Or where the first steam locomotive in America made it's one and only run? Then you will want to check out the D H Rail Trail in northern Pennsylvania. This 38 mile trail has a crushed-stone surface and follows the Lackawanna River. You'll pass several lakes on your way north to the Viaduct.
