Today I present you my australian green tree frogs. I have had these two coral finger frogs for over 10 years and since there are no native amphibians in my country, they are in the terrarium and not in the garden, of course. • This frog species (Lat. Litoria caerulea or Ranoidea caerulea) is native to northern and eastern Australia and New Guinea and I have also been able to observe it in the wild. • Australian green tree frogs live up to 20 years. • These frogs can easily change colour, mostly green or brown. Australian green tree frogs are 10-15 cm long and are therefore among the larger frogs. They can also be reproduced relatively well in captivity if the tank is large enough and a larger number of frogs are kept in it. Crossbreeding with other Australian frog species (e.g. white-lipped tree frog - Litoria infrafrenata) is possible. • Like many other frogs, australian green tree frogs tend to be nocturnal. • Coral fingers become relatively tame and you can then feed them by hand. • But I'll show you that in another video. • See you soon, • Marc • #terrarium #frog #animals #frogs #animalvideo #amphibians #shorts
