The album includes 16 other oldtime fiddle tunes, and it's available on my website! I recorded Midnight on the Water in the key of E with my fiddle tuned to EEBE. Weird, huh? It's a brighter, more vibrant sound for the instrument. I experimented a lot with different tunings, and that's the concept for my record. I explored the concept of cross-tuning, and I used 13 different tunings on the 17 tracks, and I listed them all in the liner notes. I filmed this video in downtown Nashville, and you can see Broadway and 1st Avenue in the background.
