This video shows you how to diagnose and repair many models of Carrier and Bryant furnaces with the error Limit or Flame roll out (FRS) switch open. On my model the Carrier 8000 this is error code 33. There are three possible problems. The most common is your air filter is dirty and clogged. It could also be the blower motor is not functioning or the limit switch is either defective or the connections are corroded. Because it's easy to tell if the blower motor is defective (it won't be spinning at all) or the filter is dirty (just take a look at it and can you see through it), this video will help you diagnose if the limit switch is defective.
