A one-off prototype from esteemed builder Mike Ramsey of Pittsboro, North Carolina. Slotted peghead with Planetary inlay, all cherry neck with ebony fretboard/heel-cap/headstock overlay. 12 rim currently set-up with a skin head, rolled brass tonering, this banjo has a mellow low-end but is complete with soaring highs.
