Our visit to Historic Wells Cathedral in Somerset

During our visit to Wells Cathedral, with a standard visitor ticket, we will start at the cloisters before leading into the western end of the cathedral via the narthex. This will give us a view of the nave, with its remarkable scissor arch. • We'll then take a look at the Wells Astrological clock, which is said to be the second oldest in Britain, and even catch the moment it chimes. • Ascending the stone steps, we arrive at the Chapter House, the strong room of the cathedral with its impressive vaulted ceiling.
