I built this as part of a school project where we build and race four go karts over three days with 40 students. There are 4 DT teachers so 10 students per group. It's great fun! • This year we were keen to include an electric kart. After the essential bits of the kart were built and tested I stripped it back down to separate parts for the students to assemble and finish off making some of the parts. • Initial drive took it up to about 29 or 30mph before I had to break coming to the end of the track.
