Here are a few alternatives to Adobe Lightroom that are completely free to download and use to get you started with post processing raw files from your cameras. The first three are free open source software that supports different camera manufacturers' raw files. The last one is specific to canon raw files cr2 and cr3. Getting started with raw files can be intimidating. I personally started on my photo editing journey in canon dpp and rawtherapee. • Raw files aren't visible on computer for easy viewing but require software to process and convert it to file formats that can be viewed on other devices.
