Kiwi fruit vines can be propagated by grafting or by rooting cuttings. Kiwis are actually best rooted from softwood cuttings, taken from new growth. Both methods above can be used to produce good vines and crops. • In this video, I'll take you back when I took the cuttings from the vine and placed them in water and then update you on the progress of the cuttings I took nearly 8 weeks ago. • The results are pretty astonishing to me... • I'm learning quite a bit about these plants and I'm happy you are here to join me as we watch their journey. • With kiwi, you need to have at least 1 male and 1 female plant in order to produce fruit. In fact, you only need 1 male plant for every 8-10 female plants. I have about 12 plants growing so I'm hoping that at least one is a male. I'm assuming I have at least 1 female plant. • ❤ Subscribe for more Free Gardening Tips and Videos: https://goo.gl/f3D2tj • Here's the link to the whole series from seeds to today: •    • How To Grow A Kiwi Plant from Seeds   • Thanks for watching! • If interested in connecting with me on other social media networks, here's my links below: •   / robbackyardgardenerr   •   / robbackyardgardenerr   • https://plus.google.com/u/0/+RobBacky... •    / robbackyardgardenerr   •   / robbackyardgardenerr
