Nissan's S-Chassis represented a memorable era for Japanese car manufacturers when the JDM sports car segment was thriving. • Aftermarket tuning shops and parts suppliers exemplified the popularity of these models by providing their own unique takes on some of the most popular models. • Fast forward to 2019 and most of our favourite name plates from that era no longer exist. Even rarer, are new name workshops that invigorate these cars. • There are a few odd exceptions though, such as Garage Mak; a humble tuning shop tucked away in Nagano, the Chūbu region of Japan. • Our latest feature car is a 1999 Nissan Silvia S15 owned by Michael Vinall that's subject to a complete Garage Mak Wide Body kit.
